Julianna was happy to walk beside me in my canning journey! She was actually a great help. She fed the juicer while I was busy with other canning tasks. I was glad to have her in the kitchen with me. I told her she should learn now so when she was in college and all of her friends were eating canned spaghetti sauce she could share her fresh and wow them all...she didn't exactly appreciate that example but was more than willing to learn! We ended with 27 quart jars from two bushels and a really great learning experience.
